Straight from its origins, the Phalap smokey tea is a native of the Singpho tribe of Assam. Pan-fried for its distinct nutty flavour, and smoked in bamboo cylinders to give it a unique sweet smokiness, this handmade tea is a must try for tea connoisseurs.
Method of Preparation
Bring water to boil at 90℃.
Put 1 and a half tsp of Assam Phalap Smokey in a teapot, pour water and let it brew for 3-5 minutes.
Strain into a cup and enjoy.

Assam, other than being the single largest tea growing region in the world is also special because it is home to the One-Horned Rhino (or “Indian rhino”.
